Restore Daily Probiotic has the goal of maintaining a healthy digestive and intestinal system, while supporting the immune system. It also restores balance of the gut, and relieves symptoms of bloating, gas, and constipation, symptoms normally associated with IBS. Furthermore, the manufacturer claims that this product does not require refrigeration −  the bacteria can survive up to 25 degrees Celsius. This review of this product will be investigating these claims.

Every capsule contains a total of 10 billion cfu probiotic species and a prebiotic.

  • Lactobacillus Acidophilus (5 billion cfu) – This probiotic that is found in the human body treats and prevents diarrhea. It prevents over-supply of pathogens in the digestive tract. It aids in reducing symptoms of IBS, Crohn’s disease as well as gut dysbiosis.
  • Bifidobacterium Lactis (5 billion cfu) – This is a multi-purpose probiotic bacteria that improves digestion.
  • Inulin (30mg) – This functions as a prebiotic by improving gut health. It also helps with constipation. A prebiotic provides food for the probiotic, allowing it to survive for longer.

What is interesting to note about the ingredients is that there are only two strains of probiotic in the formula. There is much less of each probiotic  in this product: for instance, another manufacturer has 13.92 billion cfu of the probiotic Lactobacillus acidophilus, while Restore Daily Probiotic has only 5 billion cfu.

The manufacturer recommends that only people over the age of 12 years old should use this product. Dosage is one capsule each day, taken within 30 minutes of eating. In addition, if people are suffering from constipation, they should drink the capsules with copious quantities of water. There is no need to refrigerate this product, as long as the temperate remains below 25 degrees.

Possible Side Effects

Unlike other products, this probiotic is suitable for pregnant women. However, the manufacturer doesn’t list any possible side-effects of this product. This is strange, since all probiotics are known to carry some risks, such as mild digestive irritation in the form of gas or bloating. The manufacturer does not declare possible side effects, merely stating the need to consult a doctor should side effects be noticed, or should you have an existing medical condition.

One bottle of Restore Daily Probiotic, consisting of 28 capsules, costs $14.06 to buy online, excluding the shipping fee. There are also 3 different package options, 1) buying a singular bottle, 2) buying 2 bottles and saving 16%, or 3) buying 3 bottles and saving 20%.

Despite searching for a guarantee from the manufacturer, we were unable to find one. In addition, the return policy is not clear. This policy merely states that returns are possible. There are no other conditions indicated regarding the state of the product that may be returned, or the time limit. We could find no reviews on this product. This makes it difficult to gauge the product’s efficacy. In sum, a lack of reviews, free trial, and a guarantee on this product leaves it open to disappointment.

Our Restore Daily Probiotic Review – Conclusion

Restore Daily Probiotic is a convenient probiotic that contains a prebiotic. It does not require refrigeration, unlike other similar products on the market. It may be safely taken by pregnant women. However, the negatives(no free trial, no return policy, no guarantee, low-dosage of active ingredients) may outweigh the positives (no need to refrigerate, safe for pregnant women).
